A distressed blue wall with an everyday washing bucket and a pair of little green flip-flops. Nothing extraordinary, yet it invited me in. Purple paint dripped from the top of the wall, and the texture of my collage felt like the perfect way to capture it. As I sat sketching, a lady came home with her vegetables from the market, and a cow wandered quietly past. It was one of those ordinary moments that somehow felt worth holding onto.
