Life drawing
“I find life drawing just as exciting today as the first time I drew at art school. It’s always challenging; the varying light, the slight movements and abstract shapes and I work quickly with fresh poses so there is an energy. There is never time to be complacent and you have to know when to stop,” says Debra
Debra experiments with colour and materials across the drawings, working wet, to achieve freshness so she can move the paints fast, She is always trying new ways of capturing the elements, weight and movement of the pose.
